Superabundant is Oregon Public Broadcasting's a digital-first documentary series about food and ingredients in the Pacific Northwest. While interning on the organization's digital team, I worked with the documentary team to create the episode on robots and honey.

The Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center hosts parenting lessons for families in the Spanish-speaking community in the Portland Metro area as well as other community services including classes and medical assistance. I created this video with the help of 3 other students for our Video for Community Engagement class.

While Americans recieve their COVID stimulous checks from the government, undocumented immigrants recieve no support and no job security. Centro Cultural is raising money to help support these vulnerable families in need.

March for Palestine

Across the country and around the world people marched and protested for a ceasefire and an end to the occupation in Palestine in late 2023 and early 2024. These photographs were taken in protests in downtown Chicago.

Many families brought their children to these peaceful demonstrations, allowing them to participate and bring awareness to the children being killed. The photo on left and right of the first row below were taken in Portland, Oregon while the rest of the photos were taken in Chicago.

Eid Mubarak

Muslims in the greater Portland area come together at last to celebrate Eid Al-Adha as COVID-19 restrictions begin to lift, July 20, 2021.

Events

From choosing a venue and curating to coaching speakers and launching marketing campaigns, I have quite a bit of experience in planning events. TEDxPacificU was one of those events. In 2019, I worked alongside 14 other talented team members to plan, organize and execute a TEDx conference. For about a year, I wore multiple hats. As speech coach, I helped 8 speakers outline, draft and present their speeches. As event marketing coordinator, I developed our social media strategies as well as the distribution of our physical advertismeents such as flyers and posters. On March 16, 2019, we had a successful event with 8 speakers, 3 performers and an audience of about 300.
